Issa Tchiroma(Cameroon government spokesperson and minister of communication) last week accused
Amnesty International of sighting with the Boko Haram terrorist following Amnesty
International reports that Cameroon has been torturing terrorist suspect in
their custody. The government of Cameroon has been battering the notorious Boko
Haram terrorist in the North of Cameroon for the past 3years. There is evidence
dotted all over the place of Cameroon soldiers torturing suspects but Cameroon
government says that it’s all lies.
Last year videos circulated on
social media of Cameroon soldiers torturing civil activist arrested from the
territory of ambazonia.
Ambazonians have been asking the
questions; are Ambazonians humans? Since amnesty international seems to issue
statements related only to the torture of terrorist suspect totally ignoring
the arbitrary arrest and torture of Ambazonians citizens who have engaged in
peaceful talks and protest.
Amazonians are demanding the
international watchdog to be sincere when issuing reports on the atrocities caused
by the government of Cameroon
