Floods cause havoc in Bamenda




Yesterday Bamenda, a city of over 600,000 inhabitants in the northern zone face the worst floods ever in the history of the city. Around mile 4 area in queen a river overflow it banks after heavy rains that trounce Bamenda from the early hours of the day.

Motorist were seen struggling to cross from one side of the town to another, considering that this is the busiest section of the city of Bamenda.

The floods have rendered hundreds of resident homeless and has destroyed property worth hundreds of thousands of US dollars.

SCBC television reported the incidence and SCACUF sent solidarity messages while fundraising for the recent disasters in Jakiri and Lebialem.
