Cameroon to Co-host AFCON with Ambazonia

With the steam in the house and preparations towards the restoration of the Ambazonia State in October 1 of this year, the Republic of Cameroon who is to host the 2019 AFCON might need Ambazonia to Co-host or Cameroon might be denied the rights to host. The Executive Committee of the African Football Governing body CAF, meeting in Rabat Morocco, Thursday July 20 voted to increase the number of competing teams at the African Nations’ cup to twenty four (24) beginning from the 2019 edition to be hosted by Cameroon in June and July.

With 24 teams teams coming to the competition, Ambazonia government need to put in place a minister in charge of sports to start seeing that things go well comes 2019. Ambazonia only have one stadium in the town of Victoria that qualifies to host such a great competition.
Neighbouring Cameroon is slowly preparing for the games as if 2019 is in 10years time. Cameroon may lose the right to host if the infrastructure is not ready on time, if there is no peace in the country, and also if Ambazonia refuses to co-host with the Republic of Cameroon. There are so many if’s that might make the competition impossible.

Ambazonia players have been training in many stadia across the group, including china and Switzerland.
