Cameroon government looking for alternative energy sources as Ambazonia set to move away

The government of Cameroon is desperately exploring and trying to exploit new energy sources as Ambazonia gears towards self-rule.
The recent developments reported by business in Cameroon) - Gaz du Cameroun (GDC), local subsidiary of British oil and gas producer Victoria Oil and Gas (VOG) responsible for production and distribution of gas to companies in the economic capital of Cameroon, will bring into service, from the month of September 2017, one of the two wells whose drilling activities had started in November 2016, we learned officially.
The government of Cameroon is set to lose a lot of their energy supply if Ambazonia goes solo come October 2017. The present status quo, Ambazonians and Cameroonians alike do not usually know who owns what in the lucrative oil industry.
The profits are kept secret and transactions are not for public eye. Cameroon as a whole is not a member of OPEC, an organization for oil producing nations. But is represented by France that does the sale and marketing of Ambazonia oil.
